Choosing a workout

Choose with three questions:

  1. How much time do you have? Every workout shows its length; the filters narrow to what fits.
  2. What does your week need? Follow the pyramid. After a run of hard rows, go easier. After a run of steady EN, a threshold or interval piece fits.
  3. How hard should today be? Use the workout'sexpected effort: how much it asks of you, not how complicated it is. Longer is not automatically harder; some of the easiest sessions are the longest.

Today does this for you

Today's suggestion looks at what you've rowed lately and offers something that fits. Its filters narrow by time, effort and more. The Library is there when you'd rather choose by hand.

Rule of thumb

Most days, pick something you can finish at its target. Save 4s and 5s for days you are rested, and don't put them back to back.
